The short version: WaterTimer collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything the app does stays on your Apple Watch and iPhone. This policy explains that in full.
Nothing. WaterTimer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers, because WaterTimer has no servers. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, crash-reporting services, or any third-party tracking of any kind.
Your timers and history — the durations you set and the record of completed or cancelled timers — are stored only on your device, inside the app’s private storage. This information never leaves your Apple Watch and iPhone and is never sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
WaterTimer is a simple countdown timer. It does not read from or write to Apple Health, and it does not access HealthKit.
WaterTimer uses local notifications and haptics to alert you when a timer finishes. These are scheduled entirely on your device by watchOS. They do not involve our servers and are not push notifications sent from us.
If you email us through the support page, we receive the message, email address, and any details you choose to include, solely so we can reply to you. We use this only to respond to your request and do not sell it, share it, or use it for marketing. Support messages are delivered to us by email through our email provider and are not used for any other purpose.
WaterTimer is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Because the app collects no data, we expect changes to be rare.
